Many studies have shown that religious people have improved health and live longer lives. Since the purpose of this blog is to explore ways to do just that, I had to include it. If you aren’t religious, please don’t be offended!! Some people have problems with the studies that have been done, and you can take their side without offending me.
Here are a few ways some think religion may help:
- Lowers your blood pressure
- Motivates doctors visits
- Protects against depressive symptoms
- Soothes anxiety
- Raises self esteem
- Puts a smile on your face
Personally, I definitely see a difference that my religion has made in my personal health, and quality of life. What about you? Do you think it can really help us live longer? Why or why not?
